## TITLE SAFE BOUNDARIES 🖼️
Maintain a 20% 'margin' around the perimeter of your narrative and graphic text elements, including credits and subtitles.
- This helps to prevent cropping of text and title elements when your film is viewed on a variety of displays and projectors.
> [!Warning] TITLE SAFE PERIMETER of < 20% may result in CROPPING DURING PLAYBACK. 👾 🫡 👾
> Graphic and Narrative Text Elements which lay beyond 20% of the perimeter of your image container may result in cropping due to underscan on HDMI displays, and / or projection-masking during cinema projection.
Safe Areas can be displayed as an overlay in a variety of NLE applications:
- 'Grid' in *Avid Media Composer*
- ‘Action / Title Safe Guides’ in *Adobe After Effects*
- 'Safe Areas' in *Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve*
